This adorable and charming creamer was made by Joseph Bourne and Son, who operated the Denby Pottery in Derbyshire, England.
Most items in this specific "Fox Hunt" or "Hunting Scene" relief pattern date back to the 1930s and 1940s. The creamer features a raised, embossed design of elements from a traditional fox hunt, including a fox, a tree, a horse and rider, and a hound dog, set against a light green/cream background with dark brown glazed upper and lower sections.
This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing which is remarkable for its age, and a testament to its durability.
