Description
Elevate your collection or historical restoration project with this magnificent set of 14 antique French enamel buttons. Each button features a mesmerizing "swirl" design of brilliant cobalt blue enamel, framing a dainty, hand-painted rose at its center. The intricate openwork brass is further embellished with faceted cut steel beads, which were a popular substitute for diamonds in the 19th century and remain highly sought after by collectors today.
Because they are handcrafted, each button has its own unique character while maintaining a perfectly cohesive look as a set. These are ideal for high-end period costuming, heirloom jewelry repurposing, or as a centerpiece for a dedicated button collection.
Condition Note: Two of the buttons are missing one of the tiny hematite stones.
